WALL-E

Everybody’s ranking, so why can’t I? , Part 2

Pixar Short Films:
1. Luxo, Jr.: Gotta give the original its due.
2. Geri’s Game: Loveable, playful character meets brilliant match cuts.
3. Presto: Shown before WALL-E. Probably the funniest Pixar short ever.
4. Jack-Jack Attack: Baby with deadly weapons torments annoying babysitter. Excellent!
5. Lifted: Great sight gags and an obvious step along the way to making WALL-E.
6. Knick Knack: Amorous toy!
7. Tin Toy: Terrified toys! You can see the beginnings of Toy Story in this one.
8. Boundin’: Cute. Old-timer Bud Luckey’s pet project (look him up).
9. One Man Band: Great animation, okay story.
10. Red’s Dream: Film noir images, a unicycle with big dreams.
11. For the Birds: Cute birds. Not much to set it apart from everything else out there.
12. The Adventures of André & Wally B.: #12 and #13 are the only Pixar shorts that I dislike.
13. Mike’s New Car: Totally unnecessary.
